About Us

REX Real Estate® specializes in land located along the Golden Corridor – encompassing both the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Road. This land is the most dynamic development area in North Texas and has seen unprecedented and explosive growth over the years. What was once farmland is now the home of many corporate relocations such as Toyota, FedEx, Liberty Mutual, and JP Morgan Chase.

REX Real Estate® has long been at the center of this investment corridor by brokering developments such as Frisco Bridges, Granite Park, and recently the new home of the Dallas Cowboys, The Star, just a couple of miles north of the 121/Dallas North Tollway intersection in Frisco.

1987

The Beginning

Rex Glendenning founds REX Real Estate®️

1993

Trophy Club - Trophy Club, TX

1993 was the first time the property for Trophy Club was sold and then again in 2006. This 2,000+ acre community is now the Town of Trophy Club with a local government. This community is located on SH 114 near Westlake, Southlake, and the DFW Airport. It offers over 1,000 acres of park land and two 18-hole golf courses that wind through the neighborhood.

1994

Post Oaks (Starwood) - Frisco, TX

REX Real Estate® broker Rex Glendenning worked with Cowboys' owner, Jerry Jones, his son, Stephen Jones, and builder, Steve Roberts, to secure a $6 million purchase of a 550-acre property that became a master-planned, single family gated development with 1,250 upscale family homes.

1995

Brinkman Ranch - Frisco, TX

A suburban master-planned community which will be home to the University of North Texas Frisco Campus and one of the largest City Parks in Northern Texas.

1997

Granite Park - Plano, TX

90 acres located at the southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Sam Rayburn Tollway. A master-planned office community offering high end amenities. The Broadwalk at Granite Park connects retail, restaurants, and a Hilton Hotel to the office community.

1999

The Bridges of Frisco - Frisco, TX

Suburban power center adjacent to one of the most successful malls in Texas; Stonebriar Mall. It is occupied by the who's-who of national retailers and restaurants.

2000

Gentle Creek - Prosper, TX

450 acres located at the northeast corner of Collin County Road 80 and Bloomdale Road that is now the home of Gentle Creek Estates, a country club, and golf course.

2001

Mercer Crossing - Farmers Branch, TX

Corporate campus mixed-use development at two of the highest traveled highways in Texas; I-35 and I-635. This development is comprised of a number of Class A office buildings, restaurants, single and multifamily residential.

2003

Lakes of Bird Fort/Viridian - Arlington, TX

The property was first sold in 2003 and again in 2007 by REX Real Estate®. It is a classic master planned residential community with homes starting at the low $400s and upwards of the low millions and accompanied by multiple amenity centers and park land which is connected by hike-and-bike trails.

2004

Star Creek - Allen, TX

This 529-acre master-planned single family community was built in four phases. It is located within minutes of The Village at Allen, The Village of Fairview, and the Allen Premium Outlets. This Blue Star development is located along Cottonwood Creek and offers many hike-and-bike trails.

2005

Gates of Prosper - Prosper, TX

This 650-acre property is located at the northeast and northwest corners of Preston and U.S. 380. It is a one billion dollar retail-anchored development. The first initial phase included 300,000 sq. ft. of retail space along with several dining options on 93 acres. The remaining acreage is currently under construction and will offer a variety of retail and restaurant options along with multifamily.

2008

The River Walk at Central Park - Flower Mound, TX

A 158-acre mixed-use development that integrates commercial, office, retail, dining, medical, civic, and residential uses in a variety of building types. It is located five miles north of the DFW Airport, 28 miles northwest of downtown Dallas and 25 miles northeast of Ft. Worth. Three major highways border The River Walk, each with six lanes, which makes this development easily accessible from any part of the DFW Metroplex.

2011

Prosper Gateway, Prosper, TX

270-acre mixed-use corporate campus development at the northeast corner of U.S. 380 and the Dallas North Tollway. Ideally positioned for specialty retail, upscale restaurants, hospitality, medical, and office.

2011

Star Trail - Prosper, TX

Star Trail is an upscale master-planned community that will include up to 1,800 homes. The development is located a few minutes north of the U.S. 380 and Dallas North Tollway intersection. The community offers 53 acres of parks and trails along with a five acre community center. There is also a dedicated site for a future Prosper ISD Elementary School

2014

The Star - Frisco, TX

If it wasn't for REX Real Estate® brokers Rex Glendenning and Matthew Kiran, the Dallas Cowboys new headquarters and practice facility may have never relocated to Frisco, TX. Rex and Matthew's vision to help the Cowboys headquarters has resulted in a $1.5 billion mixed-use development that is the envy of professional sports teams everywhere.
