Prime Prosper building site near U.S. 380 and tollway sells to investors

A key Prosper property near the busy northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and U.S. Highway 380 has changed hands.

The 110-acre development site is north of U.S. 380 on Mahard Parkway, adjacent to Children’s Health’s new medical campus. The site is north of the new PGA of America headquarters.

The site sold to investor Vijay Borra and DFW Land — already major investors along the tollway corridor. Dallas-based Standridge Cos. and Columnar Holdings acquired the vacant property in 2019.

 “Having the corners of Lovers Lane and Mahard Parkway make this site prime for development,” said real estate broker Rex Glendenning, whose Rex Real Estate handled the sale. “The site is approximately a mile from the new PGA Omni Hotel and Resort and the new PGA Headquarters.”

Glendening negotiated the sale with Stacy Standridge and Tommy Crowell with Standridge.

With the tollway extension being completed north of U.S. 380, developers and investors are scrambling to tie up building sites in Prosper and Celina. The intersection of U.S. 380 and the tollway is a hot spot for future development with several projects planned.
