Located on the northwest side of Celina, the 3,200 acres now known as Legacy Hills will be the largest new housing community in Dallas' north suburbs. Centurion American has more than 10,000 homes and apartments planned, along with an 18-hole championship golf course, a 27-acre sports park, walking trails, and seven amenity centers. Two schools and two fire stations are also in the future plans.
Rex Glendenning with REX Real Estate, represented the buyer, Centurion American, and brokered the deal with the Stratford Group, who represented the seller, the Dynavest partnership. The investment partnership had owned the land for almost 40 years, until being sold in the summer of 2021.
